Sprint has quietly cut the the two year contract price of its Samsung Galaxy Note 4 by $50, reducing it from $349.99 down to $299.99, most likely in an effort to compete with its rival carriers in the US.

The other price options for the 5.7-inch smartphone on Sprint's network remain the same as customers can still choose to pay $30 a month for 24 months via Sprint Easy Pay to get the phone or you can pay $720 up front without a contract. The new $299.99 two contract price is now the same as the ones on AT&T and Verizon Wireless. The Galaxy Note 4 is currently scheduled to start shipping on October 17.

Do you think Sprint made the right move to adjust the two year contract price on the Galaxy Note 4?
