Silent Circle, the maker of the privacy-focused Blackphone, announced that the company is planning to release a privacy-minded tablet. Jon Callas, founder of the Silent Circle company that produces encrypted communication at the heart the Blackphone, said "we are going to have a tablet soon."
The main goal behind the Blackphone is to offer users a private and secure Android experience, as free as possible from tracking of both prying government and corporate eyes. Features of the smartphone include encrypted calls, texts, and internet browsing. And now it seems that the company is aiming to bring this same privacy-focused experience to tablet consumers.
So, faithful readers, does the idea of a completely encrypted tablet experience appeal to you?
