HP 10 Plus Android tablet makes a stealth reveal for $279.99

HP 10 plus

HP has started selling a new Android tablet, the HP 10 Plus, on its own website as well as Amazon, for $279.99, but the company has yet to issue a formal press release for this product.

The 10.1-inch tablet has a display resolution of 1920x1200 and uses Android KitKat 4.4.2. Inside there's a ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1 GHz, along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage, with a microSD card slot for more storage. It has a five megapixel front facing camera along with a two megapixel front facing camera. The 7700 mAh Li-ion polymer has a pretty unremarkable battery life; the HP 10 Plus lasts just six hours fully charged.

All in all, this looks to be a very mediocre tablet in terms of both pricing and hardware, and maybe that's while HP decided to start selling it without a lot of fuss. What is your opinion on the HP 10 Plus?
