Galaxy Mega 2

In what could be indicative of a wider rollout, Samsung has listed the Galaxy Mega 2 on its Thai website. The listing reveals the specs of the handset, which include a 6-inch 720p display.

The Galaxy Mega 2 also features a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 8 MP rear camera, 2.1 MP front shooter, LTE connectivity and a 2800 mAh battery. On the software side of things, the device is running Android 4.4 KitKat, and Samsung is bringing over features launched earlier this year like the Ultra Power Saving Mode.

Available in black and white, the Galaxy Mega 2 is expected to carry a street price of around $350 to $400. As for availability in other territories, leaks from earlier this year suggested an eventual launch on AT&T in the US. The device is also likely to head to other Asian countries seeing as how there is a huge demand for large screen devices.

Anyone interested in the Galaxy Mega 2?
