eBay's Android app has had a beefy update that introduces new home screen notifications, search improvements, and bigger item images, plus additional options for in-store pick-up and same-day delivery with eBay Now. Meanwhile sellers can now designate from the app that the money from their eBay sale is going towards specific charities. eBay's Giving Works initiative has already raised over $500 million in this way. Sellers can check a buyer's location when checking best offers, and payment reminders can be sent from the app now too.
For those unfamiliar, eBay lets you buy and sell stuff online, either in an auction format or traditional store transaction with set prices. The last big update to eBay's Android app made it tablet-friendly.
