Apple is planning to launch a larger iPad with 12.9-inch to the market.
Early 2015
The production of the larger iPad will start in the first quarter of 2015, reports Bloomberg. The new iPad will probably get the name iPad Pro. The current iPads have a diagonal of 9.7 inches, and the iPad Mini is 7.9 inches.A 12.9 Inch iPad would be as large as many laptop screens.
Specs
Apple is already a year working on the bigger iPad. Earlier it was stated that the new model would appear this year. The iPad Pro would appear in two versions: a quad HD version and a sharper ultra HD version. It will also get an ultra thin chassis and narrow side bezels as the current iPad mini and iPad Air, and it will support Apple's Touch ID.Sales
Apple may want to give the market a boos with the new iPad. The sales of the iPad have been on the decline for the past two quarters.Along with a larger iPad Pro Apple is also working on a the iPad Air 2 and Retina iPad mini 2, both will support Apple's Touch ID fingerprint sensor and a bigger ram and processor.
